A year ago, Arbutus College moved to a new facility at Harbour Centre. After twelve months, the new location on top of Simon Fraser University's downtown campus, has become a comfortable home to our students and staff. The views from our classrooms, over the harbour and towards the North Shore mountains, are stunning.

 Principal Jindra Repa participated in a meeting of the articulation committee chairs and coordinators at the BC Council on Admissions and Transfers on February 3, 2006. One of the topics under discussion was a greater inclusion of private colleges in the system of course and program transfers between public and private colleges and universities.

While the present system discriminates against private colleges, there is a greater openness to dialogue and inclusion. We are confident that in the foreseeable future, British Columbia will have a true comprehensive post secondary system that embraces all educational institutions as equal partners.
