Course description:

After reviewing the OSI model the Internet protocols and RFCs are introduced. Client/Server protocols, ftp, http and smtp are reviewed. Domains and DNS are discussed and reviewed.

 

Students will implement traditional LAN services including file and print servers.

 

Both Linux and Windows servers may be used to demonstrate connectivity issues and solutions.
