Course description:
In this course students will be introduced to the essentials of translation theory and techniques as well as the professional requirements and opportunities.
They will practice analyzing and comprehending selected texts from a variety of current topics, including information technology, political news, business, social issues, etc., while being offered guidance and critique.
Students will also become more familiar with the basic rules and regulations of the Korean language. They are required to complete regular weekly translation assignments. |

Passing grade:
If this is a core course in your diploma, 70% in overall evaluation is a passing grade. If this is a core course in your certificate, 60% in overall evaluation is a passing grade. If this is an elective course in your program of study, 50% in overall evaluation is a passing grade. |
