This course is designed for intermediate to advanced level students who want to improve their speaking, listening, writing, and critical thinking skills as related to english for business purposes.
The theme and related activities focus on developing the communication skills that every professional needs to succeed in today's global business environment. |
The course content is delivered through lectures, combined with student-centred activities such as activities, critical thinking exercises, reading comprehension tasks, and various homework assignments. |

Learner outcome:
Students will be able to:
- Identify and solve communication problems
- Understand the uniqueness of international marketing
- Participate in a meeting role play
- Write a business memorandum
- Build and maintain business relationships
- Identify factors that define success
Language work includes: idioms, communication adjectives, marketing collocations, noun compounds and noun phrases, multi-word verbs, words to describe relations, prefixes, and a review of present and past tenses |
