Course Description:

Methodology

Students are placed in an eight-week practicum in a business selected on the basis of the students major and interest.

The practicum simulates real employment situation.

The students are supervised by their employers and the principal or designate.

Course Outcomes:

• To improve technical and professional skills through real life applications
• Learn about the realities of business in Canada
• Develop and practice team building skills
• Learn effective communication skills in an applied setting
